There's a brand new restaurant in Lancaster County located in Mill Creek Square near The Outlets. Noodles & Company is a 'fast casual' type restuarant similar to a Panera or Chipotle meaning it's a step up from a fast food restuarant like McDonalds, but not quite a full service restaurant. 

I checked Noodles & Co out last week and really enjoyed the visit. There are plenty of options for any appetite and the options can easily be customized. I was also impressed by the great customer service, although the prices were a little higher than I would like to pay for that type of dining environment, but I have similar complaints at Panera Bread.

In a previous blog post, I wrote about "What is a Short Sale". You can easily spot these short sales in Lancaster County by using the advanced real estate search tools available on our website. For your convenience, I’ve even included a few short sales at the bottom of this blog post.

If you would like to search for short sales, or if you would like to exclude them, the easiest place to start is the real estate search page.  Along the right hand side of the page (picture included below), there is a drop down list where you can easily select to search exclusively for short sales, or exclude them entirely.

A question that I hear quite a bit while working with buyers in Lancater County is "What is a Short Sale?" These types of 'distressed sales' have become more common because of the market conditions over the past few years, so lets go over what they are and how to spot them while searching for your Lancaster County home on our website.

A short sale occurs when someone selling their home owes more on that home then it is worth and can't afford to bring the difference in cash to the settlement table. Basically, that seller would be going back to the bank and asking them to take less than what was originally promised in the mortgage note.
